And Jesus, having cried out with a loud voice, gave up the ghost. And the centurion who stood over against him, seeing that crying out in this manner he had given up the ghost. said: Indeed this man was the son of God.

At the very moment when Jesus Died, I imagine a very colourless, dark, and ominous moment. It might even have been terrifying. However, I think those who looked upon Jesus, must have had a sense of peace…that though He is gone, there is still hope. The Centurion, looked up at Him. Yet, he confessed that Jesus is the Son of God, right after confirming His Death.
